The BCMEA Waterfront Human Resources Information System is a database system containing employment related information pertaining to longshore employees working under the BCMEA/ILWU Collective Agreement. It has been developed as an initiative to provide required information to direct employers of the BCMEA to enable them to more efficiently manage on-site ILWU personnel in a safe and productive manner.

Employers can use the profile section to view employee information kept on file.

Employers can use the Ratings section to view employee Ratings, Capabilities, Tickets and Trades.

Employers can use the Hours section to view employee hours worked.

Employers can use the Training section to view employee training history and view manuals.

The Dispatch pages section seen here will allow BCMEA Direct Employers to stay current with the work activity on the Vancouver waterfront. Employers will be able to view board and plate information for the Vancouver Dispatch Hall, view current dispatch button positions, and display dispatch slips for job availability. Users will be able to view current dispatch information for individual ILWU 500 Employees, and work history for all employees.

Employers can use the Site Information section to view site based employee work hours and view online reports of who is dispatched and/or called back to the site.
